We had the privilege of working with Project Exploration’s “All Girls Expedition” group with students from various schools around the Chicago area.  Project Exploration provides an after school STEM education program and as a part of their program, PE brought 33 girls out to the farm to grow, experience, and explore creation.  To say the girls had a blast and learned a lot is an understatement.

During their weekend visit, the girls enjoyed the beauty of creation at the farm through a night hike, day hike, scavenger hunt for animals and their habitats, exploration of the Big Bureau Creek, team building activities, nature crafts, journaling and reflection, campfires, camping, and so much more!
